Mr. Shigeto Sakakihara

His works use a mix of oil pastels and watercolor, interspersed with dots, resulting in works combining boldness and fine detail that brim with originality. By separating the work’s motif into different parts to create surfaces, he brings a new vibrancy to the coloration, creating lively and dynamic works.

Mr. Seiji Kusuhara

Through the use of a color pencil’s soft touch, and long rows of vertical lines, he creates works that balance boldness and delicacy. Inspired by his unique interpretation of photographs, he builds a world like no other.

Ms. Kanae Hattori

She colors over pen lines with acrylic paint, giving her works a vibrant, colorful finish. Referencing photographs and encyclopedias, rather than copy the motif wholesale, she warps it according to her own perspective, adding an original touch.

Mr. Yoshihiko Osamura

Using a distinct sense of colors, he creates a layer of countless overlapping templated geometrical shapes, which he paints over with a number of colors. Specializing in delicate and detailed expression, he uses handmade pens made from broken mechanical pencils. From sketching, to hemming and finally coloring, his delicate process takes between 8 and 10 months.

Mr. Shinichi Sasaki

Usually draws with a biro or brush. When he does not have the strength to hold a pen, he sometimes paints with paint on his hands or uses familiar tools such as marbles.

Ms. Nanan

Her signature works are continuous patterns (matrix series) with unique deformations created with unwavering lines. She uses a wide variety of painting materials with motifs of animals and insects. She has exhibited many works so far, including an Honorable Mention in the 2023 Toyohashi Brut Art Contest Para Art TOKYO.

Mr. Soichiro Ohmori

He paint as he pleases, using motifs of "spinning things" in their memory, such as ventilation fans and outdoor units. Sometimes, figures and human figures can be seen in their art.

Ms. Sakura Nagao

She awakened to the joy of painting at the age of 4. Using poster colors and watercolor paint, she creates her work with not only a brush, but a sponge as well. Though the movement range of her arms is limited, the dynamism of her brush movements stand out nonetheless in her works, which exhibit a distinctly stark color palette.
