OUR SDGS EFFORTS
Aspiring for a world where no one gets left behind, we have taken note of how wages paid to people with disability at continuing employment support facilities often fall far short of the minimum wage.
In response, we continue to run a charity event program that pays wages around the average level to disabled persons commissioned to craft Christmas ornaments and decorative paper strips for the Tanabata festival.
Tanabata paper strips crafted by people with disability are handed out to the guests, who then write their wishes on the decorations and hang them on bamboo at the hotel.Voluntary donations for this activity will be donated to facilities supporting disabled individuals.
Tanabata is a traditional Japanese festival held every year in various locations. According to legend, it is the day when the stars Orihime and Hikoboshi, separated by the Milky Way, are allowed to meet once a year. People pray for their dreams to come true by writing their wishes on colorful strips of paper called "tanzaku" and decorating bamboo branches with them.

The materials used for our ornaments come from a forest which has been thinned for its protection and is owned by the Mitsui Fudosan Group. Your contributions to this event will support facilities for people with disabilities and for forest protection activities.
