Terms of Use

  1. This service is available for a fee of 500 yen (tax included) per piece of luggage.
  2. This service is available only for guests of Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Sanjo PREMIER, Kyoto Shinmachi Bettei, Kyoto Shijo, and Kyoto Kawaramachi Jokyoji.
  3. Only luggage that can be picked up on the same day will be accepted.
  4. Payment must be made at the hotel where you are staying.
  5. Please note that delivery may be delayed or service may be suspended due to natural disasters or traffic conditions. Please note that we are unable to provide compensation in such cases.

Unacceptable Luggage

  1. Luggage that won’t close properly *Special bags are available. Please notify our staff if you wish to deliver luggage that won’t close properly. If multiple pieces of luggage are placed in one bag, the fee is for multiple items.
  2. Luggage whose combined dimensions (length, width, height) exceed 2 meters
  3. A single piece of luggage weighing more than 30 kg
  4. Valuables (cash, securities, precious metals, important documents, works of art) and items deemed valuable by the hotel
  5. Liquids (including glass bottles, cans, plastic bottles, etc.), unsealed paper bags, umbrellas, etc.
  6. Hazardous materials, animals, odor-producing materials
  7. Items requiring temperature control, such as frozen or refrigerated goods (room temperature is acceptable)
  8. Strollers, folding bicycles, cardboard, fresh flowers, musical instruments
  9. Precision equipment (cameras, computers, etc.) or items deemed fragile by the hotel
  10. Items that must not be bent, stacked, or require a specific orientation

Compensation for Luggage

If your luggage is damaged (broken or lost) due to the hotel or shipping company's negligence, compensation will be provided up to 100,000 yen per item.

  • The hotel and shipping company cannot be held responsible for damage to luggage, damage to its contents, or loss of items due to causes not related to their negligence.
  • We ask that you take with you or place in your luggage any key chains, patches, beverages in the side pockets, etc. that are attached to your luggage.
